GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARE AND WRAPING OF DIFFERENT TABLE MATERIALS:

    1. Solid wood:

      • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
      • Avoid exposing the solid wood to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as this can cause the wood to fade or crack.
      • Use wood wax, oil or wood preservative to protect the surface and maintain its shine. Remember to check that the material you use is suitable for your table!
      • Avoid leaving wet/greasy items on the table. Grease, for example, from a donut is quickly absorbed into the wood and it is challenging to remove the mark.
    2. Wood veneer:

      • Clean the wood veneer surface with a soft, damp cloth and, if necessary, mild soapy water.
      • Avoid too strong cleaning agents that can damage the veneer surface.
      • Avoid excessive moisture and extreme temperatures, which can damage the wood veneer.
      • Use a wood conditioner or oil as needed to protect the veneer and preserve its natural beauty. Sometimes the veneer is varnished or painted, in which case the surface does not require any care other than dusting.
    3. Oiled wood:

      • Clean the oiled wooden surface with a soft, damp cloth and, if necessary, mild soapy water.
      • Avoid abrasive or strong cleaning agents that can damage the oiled surface.
      • Re-oil the wood surface regularly to keep it moisturized and protected.
      • Avoid exposing oiled wood to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. This can lead, for example, to cracking of the oak table.
    4. MDF:

      • MDF surfaces are often laminated with, for example, wood-patterned laminate. This material requires no care other than dusting
      • Clean the MDF surface with a soft, damp cloth and, if necessary, mild soapy water.
      • Avoid watering or excessive moisture, as it can damage the structure of the MDF.
      • Avoid extreme temperatures that can cause MDF to deform.
      • Avoid scratching or hammering the MDF surface, as this can irreversibly damage the surface.
    5. Glass:

      • Clean the glass surface with glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
      • Avoid strong cleaning agents that can damage the glass surface.
      • Avoid too strong shocks or bumps that could break the glass.
      • Keep the glass surface dry to prevent the formation of water marks and stains.
    6. Stone:

      • Clean the stone surface with a soft cloth and mild soapy water.
      • Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can damage the surface of the stone.

By following these general instructions, you can ensure the longevity and beauty of various table materials. However, always remember to check and follow the manufacturer's care instructions, which may vary depending on the material and manufacturing process.
